How our weekend went with Typhoon Gener..

Last weekend was really scary because of the typhoon Gener here in the Philippines. It became stronger last sunday and classes were suspended yesterday. We also experienced brownout from Sunday night up to Monday afternoon.

Since we had nothing to do then, hubby asked us if we want to go to SM. We immediately said Yes because Tami wants to buy bag also. She want a bag with wheels kasi mabigat daw yung backpack nya pag pinapauwi yung books :( Hubby experience it when we fetched Tami to school at sakto naman na pinauwi ng teacher yung mga books for the preparation of exams.

And so we went to Southmall. My father in law drop us in SM and we brought hubby's nephew para makagala na din..

Hubby and Tami after we bought her new bag. She was really happy to see her new princess bag.

 Mochi Creme

We saw this on our way to Giordano and we bought one for Tami..

Tami enjoying Mochi in strawberry flavor while we are inside the Guess outlet checking some items.

My fave Baked Zitti from Sbarro..

Our nephew was requesting pizza for our merienda so we chose Sbarro.

 Tami's New bag

Grabe! I never thought na aabot na sa P3,500 yung mga ganitong bag :( Hubby also bought his new Fibrella umbrella kasi tag-ulan na daw.

We went to SM yesterday and bought Bag, umbrella and Tami's toy only to find out na magse-sale today :( Grrrrr.....

Tami singing Call Me Maybe

Hindi na pinansin yung new toy nya kasi feel na feel ang pagkanta ng Call Me Maybe...

How about you Peeps? How's your weekend?

Dan Eric's Ice Cream Anyone?

Ang init no?

My father in law bought this large tub of ice cream outside our village.. Perfect for an afternoon delight.

Dan Eric's Coffee Mocha Fudge Ice cream

As i was typing this post, i am also eating my ice cream.. Wala kasing magawa eh. Im here in the computer while my parents-in-law are watching TV..

After this, im going out to have small retail therapy. Awarding myself for being good.. hehe.. Joke lang.. Nakakuha kasi ako ng commission sa raket ko kaya its time naman to buy something new...

Perfect for our friend's date tomorrow. Excited na ako to see my friends :)

Ciao! I'll be back later..

Cobo again!

And im back to Cobo for the second time! It was with hubby's cousin yesterday afternoon..

 Cobo
Awesome Possibiliteas

Ate Che's drink: Medium Wintermelon shake with Intense sugar and combination of Chewdle
For me: Large Black Sugar Milk Tea with Average Sugar and combination of Chewdle too.

Hubby's cousin likes sweet so she requested for an intense sugar.. Matabang kasi ang timpla.. hehe. I am happy naman with my Black Sugar Milk Tea :)

I ordered Chicken strips in Mexican Salt and Pepper

Its also good like the Fried Siomal that we ordered before.

I enjoyed Cobo like it was the first time. Sarap ding tumambay because of the ambiance and the wifi.. :)

I remember when im still with my previous company, my friends and i were talking of putting a milk tea place... Part of it is the branding so were thinking of a unique name.... naalala ko to when i saw my cousin's tweet (see pic below).. natawa lang ako...

Since i became a stay-at-home-mom, hindi naman ako naging stay at home lagi eh... hehe. Either i go to mall or i go to hubby's other relatives house..

Well, Im just enjoying my vacation.. Milk Tea pa!!! :)

Good times at Mesa, Southmall

Since i don't have work right now, its always on hubby's payday that we go out to have a little date. Its either we dine, watch a movie or just stroll in the mall.. tamang kwentuhan, food trip and kape lang. Last wednesday was his payday. Since my new work will be in Madrigal and near his office, we meet around the area lang. He wait for me together with his friends then go to Southmall.

In southmall, we check again kung may bago pero wala naman. Hubby wants to try Mesa restaurant so we went there after buying his new shirt. Remember my bad experience in Mesa? (See my post here).

Parang kami lang yata ang guests that time..

Our orders:

Green mango shake for hubby and Fresh Buko Juice for me

Baked Scallops

Hubby

Bagoong Rice

Fried Liempo the Mesa way...

Patotim

Signature pose?

Ayan... Hubby transferred to my seat para maiba naman daw... haha..

This time, i had a good experience in Mesa compare to my last experience with them.  We're super full when we had our early dinner.

Date with a friend (Shakeys, Serenitea & Tous Les Jours)

The date that my friend and i planned months ago was pushed through last sunday. She will be leaving again for Dubai in a few months and will stay there with her husband and baby for 5 years so matagal-tagal din kaming hindi magkikita.

We met around 3pm and when we saw each other parang hindi kami nag-uusap sa facebook sa dami ng kwento namin about our lives, our friends and reminiscing our college life.

We had our merienda in Shakey's and we continue our chikahan session.  Pag talaga may kasama kang kaibigan hindi mo alam kung ano uunahin nyo, kakain na ba or kwentuhan muna... etc etc... We order Carbonara, Chicken and Pizza and mind you naubos namin lahat yun. hahaha...

This is one of my college friends...

We left Shakey's to transfer place. I brought her to Gong Cha para ma-try nya but the place is full so what we did is we went to Serenitea and check the place. Its also full so we bought na lang our drinks and went to Casa Armas site to see where we can stay..

Our Drinks

Hokkaido for my friend and Okinawa for me :)

My milk tea, bread and my pasalubong to Tami

While going around Starbucks, we saw that Tous Les Jours has vacant seats so we went there and stay. Para hindi naman nakakahiya we bought na rin bread and at the same time cupcakes as pasalubong to my baby.

In Tous Les Jours we talk naman about business.

We left ATC at 9pm. We had really a good laugh last sunday. Hindi maubusan ng kwento kaya nga i love being with friends...

Gong Cha Time with Hubby's cousin

I was thrilled when i saw the newly opened Gong Cha in ATC's new wing when hubby and i was in ATC last time. Hubby's cousin accompany me yesterday to bring my stool in Healthway ATC for my medical checkup, we went to new wing after and hubby's cousin smells the aroma coming from Gong Cha so we went there and bought our drinks.

 Gong Cha's now all-around Asia

Its my second time to have Gong Cha so I recommend the Wintermelon Milk Tea for Ate Che because it was her first time so dapat house specialty para di ma-dissapoint agad. hehe.

I had naman that Earl Grey Milk Tea in the picture above. I was trying to have different flavor naman and it didn't dissapoint. My drink consists of Pearl, Pudding and Grass Jelly and i told to have the 70% Less Sugar because i want my drink to be empowered by tea instead of milk.

 Our Drinks

Left: Earl Grey Milk Tea for me
Right: Wintermelon Milk Tea for Ate Che

By the way, Ate Che is 7 mos pregnant, ok lang ba sa kanya yung Milk Tea?

Like what i've said in my previous post about Gong Cha, im still sure of myself that Gong Cha is still the best and my number 1 milk tea.

Without anything to do, we walk around and pass by the Home store area at the end of new wing. We went to Play and Display and other furnitures store in ATC to scout some cheap finds and inquire for our house.

We also saw this Red Door Candle store and Ate Che was enjoying her stay in that store, maybe because of the fragrant candles kaya type na type nya yun. She even bought this candle kasi Buy 1 Take 1. Perfect daw for our room because its scent spread when lighted.

Love Potion Candle P100.00 and its Buy 1 Take 1

I lighted this candle last night so our room filled with the scent of the candle tapos ang lamig pa...

Kasi nag-iiba yung mood because of the fragrance...

Awesome PossibiliTeas at Cobo, Las Pinas

When i deliver the US goods last time in BF i waited for hubby and drag him to Cobo, the newest tea shop in Las Pinas. We always saw this cafe but we never had the chance to drop by. At first i thought of Cobb as the name pero Cobo pala.. hehe

Located in the new commercial area near Perpetual, its really a new place where the students wants to stay especially with this kind of cafe where you can have your favorite milk tea while chatting with friends or doing assignments. In fact, when hubby and i arrived in the place it is full with Perpetual students wearing medical uniforms.

Cobo's place

Cobo offers lots of drinks like Milk Teas, Juices, Shakes, Lattes. They have some pica-pica too.

The place has wifi so expect lots of tambay here. Even hubby enjoyed his stay because of the fast wifi.

The counter area..

Hubby ordered Latte for him while i had the Cobo Milk Tea. (Sorry we forgot to take pictures of our drinks)

And this (pic below) makes Cobo interesting:

Cobo Fried Siomai

The siomai doesn't have sauce or any dip.

Its was so good! My first time to eat a fried siomai and i like the crispy flavorful coating and the pork was really juicy. Pwede na talagang walang sauce.. Very affordable pa at P49.00 per order :)

Cobo has really good food :)

A Challenge to Hubby (E-Cigarette)

It's rainy friday and so cold! I feel lazy to go out but i need to :(

Blog muna :)

When i met hubby 13 years ago he was a chain smoker already, not only that because he is a .........................(secret!) hehe. Anyway, when we got married he's trying to stop smoking, nabawasan yes pero hindi pa rin tumigil.. When my brother bought an e-cigarette last year he was encouraged to buy pero hindi natuloy. From being a chain smoker, naging half pack of cigarette per day na lang sya. That's real improvement for him and this past few months that half pack became 2 to 3 days cigar nya... Some of his officemates bought E-cigarettes and he was encouraged again because he really want to stop smoking.

Yesterday, on his way home from work he called me to get ready and will fetch me to go to SM Center to do some grocery. Before going to hypermarket we drop by in Holy Smoke E-Cigarette kiosk.

Hubby inquiring in Holy Smoke kiosk

Lots of Juices... This was the liquid used in E-cigarette. It comes in different flavors... Each bottle costs P240.00

 3 types of E-cigarettes

Left: The yosi-like e-cigarette. This costs P650.00 but the thing is you can use it for 1 day only then lowbatt na.. You have to charge the battery every single day.. Ang hassle dba?

Middle: This is the Ballpen style. This costs P1,500.00. The disadvantage is the coil is not replaceable so i guess its not good. Battery is rechargeable too.

Right: Pipe style. This costs P1,990.00. This is what his officemates are using. They were telling him of the benefits and the coil is replaceable. Battery is rechargeable too and can last up to 3 to 4 days.

We bought the Pipe style. The saleslady was instructing hubby on how to do it. How to put liquid, how to change the coil etc.

Here's the package:

 Holy Smoke E-Cigarette package

 What's inside?

Aside from the pipe, the box has USB charger, adapter and the free 2 cartridges or what we call the coil. According to the lady, the coil will be burned because of constant use and we need to change it after a month or so. If you buy the coil alone it costs P400.00 so good thing that this package has free 2 coils already.

 The free coils

 Hubby's new cigarette

The liquid to be use in the e-cigar.

Hubby chose the strawberry as the flavor. When the lady put some liquid into the pipe, he let us try it. I was the one who tried and its awesome! Parang candy lang and it really has smoke. Galing!

Now, onto the challenge.

I bought a new coinbank in SM, what hubby will do is he will put P25.00 per day in this coinbank. Why P25.00? So we will see kung magkano ang matitipid nya with the E-cigarette.

The thing is its my own way too to save. Im putting also some money in the coinbank for Tami's savings..

The cost of the E-cigarette package.

P1,990 (Pipe) + 240 (liquid) = P2,240.00

I think this is the best way to stop smoking. Its not that easy but determination will help you achieve your goal.

Let's help our partners quit smoking.
