Tami's 6th Birthday Party in Mcdonalds

Another photo heavy post.

Last Saturday (April 14) was my daughter's advance birthday celebration in Mcdonalds. At first i was worried because i counted those who texted that they will attend the party and the confirmed attendees reached more than 100. I only reserved 100 pax for the day (70 adults and 30 kids). Hubby told me to be ready because most of his agents will come too. I kept on counting kasi baka kulangin ako that day, di ko pa naman dala ang atm ko dun. Hubby has exact money with him.

Buti na lang wala din kaming kasabay na party that day kasi the venue  (room 1) is good for 80 pax only and since we reached 100 guests, Mcdonalds allowed us to use the other party room.

Party has this banner in front of the venue.

The venue (room 1), on the left side with the sliding door was the room 2

We arrived in the place 30 minutes before the actual party to check the place. We brought the lootbags that morning so the mcdo staff can arrange it before the party.

The lootbags

Ang cute ng lootbags no? Most of the guests were asking me where i got it and told them that its from Divisoria. Some were also planning to buy that bag for their kid's party. Its available in different colors too.

Camera Toy, Coloring Book, Stickers, Notepad and Toy

The birthday girl on the start of the program. She was telling me that day na sa next birthday party naman daw nya ay sa Jollibee. Grabe ang anak ko, marunong ng mamili.

Red Ribbon Cake

I was supposed to buy the princess design kaya lang dapat daw at least 3 days advance order. Wala naman akong time na pumunta pa dun just to order cake. When we brought the giveaways in Mcdo that morning, nagpunta na rin ako sa Red Ribbon to buy this cake.

Mcdonalds did not allowed to serve the cake. Pero kung sa kanila binili yung cake, i-serve daw nila yun. We just divide the cake and gave some to relatives as their take home.

Photos from the party:

As you can see, mas marami pa ang guests na adults kesa sa kids. Some of Tami's classmates weren't able to attend for some reasons. We only have 4 kids in the family tapos hindi pa nakarating yung isa, on hubby's side of the family naman konti lang din ang naka-attend because some has work at hindi available yung iba. Happy pa rin naman kahit yung iba hindi nakarating, umabot pa rin ang guests ng almost 100 pax :)

When its time to blow the cake, nabawasan pa ang kids... But its ok because Tami enjoyed this part :)

The party ended at 6:30pm, buti na lang hindi kami pinagbayad ng extra charges dahil lumampas kami ng 2hrs. With the reservation of 100 pax, we had excess of almost 15 food for kids while i order another 5 take-out orders for adults because my brother requested takeout food.

All in all, the Mcdonalds party were fun. My daughter was thanking her guests for coming to her party and she did enjoy her birthday. The host was lively that we keep on laughing especially with the games.

Before i end this post, we just wanna thank everyone who gave gifts to Tami (she was really happy with the gifts, lahat gusto nya) and to my titas who gave money as their gift, nakabawi ako ng 30% sa gastos.. haha

So, bye muna ngayon. Hubby and I has diamond peel treatment schedule at RVB cosmetics later at 5pm then we'll go to my aunt's place in Sta. Cecilia for dinner, its my cousin's 21st birthday :)

You Rule Princess!

Happy 6th Birthday Tami!

Time flies so fast, may dalaga na kong anak! The baby is now a lady.. haha

Hay... Im on leave today to celebrate my unica hija's birthday. Hubby's here at home too because his schedule for this month is night shift. We will just have a small celebration today together with the family so i will be going to Southmall later to buy cake.

Hubby and I dropby in Tous Les Jours Bakery last time and we're choosing a design for Tami's birthday. All the cakes are so cute! Hindi nga kami makapag-decide kung anong cake ang bibilhin namin. We'll see later kung ano ang available. For the meantime, ill teach my daughter first with her homework before going out.

I'll blog soon :)

Hot Sunday Afternoon :(

Since this morning, i noticed Tami wear the sunglasses all the time, pati habang nagco-computer suot din nya. Ang ganda daw kasi ng shades nya. Kaloka!

Her outfit after taking a bath... Nakita ko sa terrace nakaupo, feeling nagsa-sunbathing kaya pinicturan ko sya.. O dba? Feelingera!

Its too hot this afternoon and im trying to call chowking and goldilocks for Halo-Halo delivery pero di namin makontak! Sa gutom ng asawa ko, pizza na lang ang pinadeliver namin. Tami's requesting for fries, buti na lang may potato wedges ang Yellow Cab..

 Our merienda today :)

18" Manhattan Meatlovers pizza and Potato Wedges

 Yummy!

Si tami napagod kaka-display sa labas, nagpalit na ng damit... haha

Kalokang bata! Marunong ng kumire...

3D2N CDO-Camiguin-Bukidnon Trip Series: Ramen Tei and Bourbon St. Bistro in CDO

After our tiring adventure (around 6pm), we freshen ourselves in the hotel and went out for dinner. Our hotel is centrally located in the city and right beside the famous Lim Ket Kai mall. Unfortunately, mall closes at 8pm so we have to look for other place. Ang aga naman magsara ng mall sa CDO! Good thing is there are lots of restaurants outside the mall and there's a long strip of bar on the side where local and tourists used to hang-out.

We didn't have a hard time finding restaurant. I wanna try sana the Aqua Seafood Restaurant kaya lang i have to consider our colleagues, for sure hindi magsasamahan yun kasi the restaurant's menu looks expensive. While the others went to Mcdo, Hubby and I crossed the road to Ramen Tei, a Japanese Restaurant in downtown CDO.

Shala ng restaurant na ito! Puro foreigner ang nakain...

Kamusta naman ang itsura ko! Mukang pagod na pagod na...

Si hubby naman full of energy pa...

Our Dinner:

Ramen for Me (i forgot kung anong ramen to)

I go with Ramen because i want something hot to ease the tiredness. I like this Ramen because the broth is flavorful. Para lang akong nakain sa John and Yoko ng Ramen.

Hubby's Tempura

Hubby's Meal

My dessert, Fruit Salad

They serve real fruits mixed with condensed milk. Yummy!

Before calling it a night, we drop by on the side of the mall where all the bars and restaurants are located. We stayed in Bourbon St. Bistro where we have liquor and this time our treat to hubby's colleagues..

We ordered Taco Feast that is good for 8 to10 people for our pulutan. We dont order much because were still full from our dinner. They just want to drink 1 to 2 bottles of beer. Pampainit daw. hehe

They had beers, i had cappuccino naman ;)

Calling our daughter...

We didn't stay too long in the bar because we're all tired from rafting. I just wanna lay in the hotel's bed and have a good sleep.

Taken outside the hotel...

Kulitan before going up to our respective rooms.

Tiring day but super fun!

3D2N CDO-Camiguin-Bukidnon Trip Series: Water Rafting in CDO

This is a photo heavy post.

After checking in at the hotel, the Red Raft company fetched us in the hotel around 10am for our scheduled Water rafting. Before the trip, i was browsing the net to check the things needed on this activity. Aside from sunblock, it was also advisable to wear long sleeves to protect your skin from the sun because it is 6 long hours that you're on the raft.

Getting ready for the adventure

This is where we had our free lunch. The free lunch consists of grilled chicken legs, Shrimps, Grilled Blue Marlin Fish and Grilled Squid, rice, fruits and soda. We didn't expect that our lunch would be that grand (all fresh seafoods) and we're thankful to the servers.. Sarap pa ng Sukang Pinakurat :)

All set to the starting point.

First thing to do: Wear all necessary safety gears, removed jewelry and others na pwedeng mawala sa katawan during the course. No need to worry because all the things will be kept in one bag and the company is liable for all the things. So far, kung pano namin iniwan ang gamit namin, ganun parin naman sya after.

Second and the most important thing to do: Listen to the guide. We were divided into two groups and each group was accompanied by 2 professional rafters. You have to listen very carefully because you have to know the do's and dont's of the activity. The water rafting consists of 14 to 15 rapids.

And the adventure began:

At first it is really scary, sa first rapid pa nga lang muntik na kong mahulog. As the adventure goes on, its really fun. Nothing to afraid of because you are with professional rafters that will guide you through the end.

You were wondering why is the water brown? Umulan kasi that morning tapos umambon pa nung hapon. According to the pro-rafters, the rapids changed by typhoon sendong. Meron palang ganun no? Before, there are some really dangerous rapids pero nag-iba after sendong, meron namang iba na humirap yung rapids.. and they studied each rapid kung anong sagwan ang gagawin to be safe. Hirap rin pala nun.. Kala ko basta sasagwan lang. hehe

After each successful rapids, the guide will shout "High Five" then you will raise your paddle up and shout. This is one way to release nervousness while on the course.

As you can see behind us, there are green rafts. There are 6 to 7 companies operating in the rafting business, each company has designated color and we have the Red Rafts Company.

Our group

By the way, we avail the photo and video of the Red Rafts amounting to P2,000. This consists of all the photos and videos in CD during the course. Galing no?

I suggest you choose Red Rafts company kasi ang cool nung mga guide at ang kukulit pa. The red rafts photographer is using a DLSR and a point & shoot camera. We saw some rafting company that uses digicam only. We were also satisfied with the outcome of the photos and videos.

 ,
There is 1 part of the river that has still water and they allow all to swim and jump. You will stay here for a couple of minutes to enjoy swimming. The question is, mag-eenjoy ka ba kung brown ang tubig? hehe

 Adrian and hubby jumps.

Ako hindi talaga ko mag-swimming kung ganyan ang tubig.

We had really fun doing the water rafting. I braved this activity na ayoko talaga nung una. I must say that you've never been to CDO if you haven't tried the water rafting :)
