158 Designers blvd, Terranova & Folded and Hung

After my agenda in Philippine Prudential Life Insurance, i go around Southmall, inquire cake in Goldilocks, went to 2nd floor to see what outfit that is nice for Tami on her 5th birthday. Then go down again and roam. This is what i've found:

Terranova outlet.

Nakakatuwa naman ang Southmall because they now cater upscale outlets and this Terranova outlet is big, i think the size is equal to 2 outlets there.

And the 158 Designers blvd is now open!

I go inside to look if they are the same with outlet in Alabang. I talked to one of the attendant and ask why they dont have Bags, she said that this branch caters more footwear and less apparel.. Its so sad that the outlet is big but konti lang ang brands, I only saw A/X, RL, Superga and Oka b. (maybe hindi pa tapos mag-arrange ng stocks kaya yun pa lang). ATC branch is more on Apparel and Bags kaya mas maganda dun.. Sayang naman...

Oka b. in 158 Designers Blvd is on sale. Oka b. is nice footwear also..

After meeting hubby in the middle, we went to Folded and Hung to buy his shirts again. He love Folded and Hung now. Every week n lang yata napunta kami dun.

Its me while waiting for hubby.. Actually gusto ko din yung Folded and Hung, see my pic? My green polo shirt is from Folded and Hung, Pedal shorts from Old Navy and sandals from Zara women.

hehe. Taken at the Fitting room of the Folded and Hung. Pinapakita pa kasi sken ni hubby yung sinusukat nya kung tama lang ba ang size sa knya or kung maganda ba or hindi..

And this is what he bought. Pink again!

We love Folded and Hung because of the fabric. Do you shop in Folded and Hung?

Phil. Prudential Insurance..

Yesterday (wed), i was absent from work to go to Philippine Prudential life in SM Southmall for Annalyn's account (cousin of hubby). She called me overseas last Monday because one of her insurance lapsed. She emailed and called customer service to asked what have happened. After she talked with the customer service, she informed me kung anong nangyari and ask if i can go there and pay for the penalty and dues, kasi sayang nman yung insurance nya.

Their office is located beside the Casa Medica, at first youll never notice that it is office because lots of the banner was posted in their wall and a small door will lead you to their office. After talking to their customer service, she accompany me inside and settled to one of the tables.

After i sit, someone gave me free iced tea, i was waiting for almost 30 minutes and i am wondering that time why no one approach me and ask for my agenda there.

I sit beside this couple, sa sobrang tagal nag-picture n lang ako for my blog.
"Ate, yung Bag mo may tag pa" hehe

Grabe ang tagal ng service d2.

After 45 minutes, one guy approached me and just gave me a piece of paper that has the amount in it that im going to pay. Hindi man lang ako tinanong kung anong relationship ko kay Annalyn.

After paying the said amount, i just go out of the office. Mag-iinquire sana ko ng insurance nila pero nadismaya ako sa service nila. Hay.. interesado pa nman ako to get an insurance kasi matatapos na yung Sunlife insurance ko... Sayang.

Mix & Match..

I posted last Sunday that we go to Binondo and Divisoria and we shop some loots (see the post here). Anyway i want to show the mix and matching of clothes. Well, im not that good in fashion but sometimes sa ganda ng damit, nadadala na ha... hehe

Solo Pic

Blouse - Burberry (Expensive)
Bag - Lacoste (Expensive)
Jacket - from Greenbelt 1 (Not-so-expensive)
Jeans - from 168 mall (Really not expensive)
Shoes - also from 168 mall (Really not expensive)

See what i mean? No need to buy all expensive things to look good. Just mix and match things is enough. Who would have thought that my shoes are from 168 mall only? Even my boss (Gary) asked me where i bought my shoes because he said that its really nice and he plan of buying one for his girlfriend. Ayaw pa maniwala!

Group pic
(sorry guys nilagay ko yung pic nten.. dont worry tinakpan ko nman mga face eh! hehe)

Ayen (middle) also wears the loots from 168 mall (shoes, blazer and shirt)
Chucky (right) Jeans and shoes are from 168 mall also..

Galing no? Hindi obvious na mumurahin lang yung mga suot nmen...hehe

Hay naku, love ko na talaga ang 168 mall. Guys, we should go there once a month and buy stuff.

Cuz kit and kat, do you like our shoes? If yes, i will buy some and will send it to you pag may pupunta jan. Just let me know your sizes. Fab yung shoes and luper lambot when you see it in person.

Fashion for Less it is!

Planning of a kid's party..

My 4 year old daughter is now requesting for a birthday party. She told me last week when i arrived from work that she wants to have a Barbie birthday with her classmates. I dont have reaction at first because its normal for kids who goes to school to experience birthday party with her classmates but Tami's birthday is April and its vacation.

When hubby learned about the request of our daughter, he just told Tami that she'll be having birthday party. I dont have reaction again because i was thinking of our upcoming expenses for our house and lot. Kaya nga tipid kami dba?

Anyway, wala naman kaming choice but to give her the party. The savvy mommy here needs to look for a kiddie party package. During the weekend, we canvass and look for the possible place and it was short-listed to three options:

OPTION 1: KFC

KFC offers Spongebob theme party package. Tami love Spongebob thats why its one of our option. We also love the food and KFC in Las Pinas is the new branch kaya for sure maganda pa yung amenities nila. What i dont like here is they don't have playground for the kids.

Cost:
Party fee: P3,900 (includes cake)
Kids menu (Package 1): P134 x 30 kids = P4,020
Adult menu (Package 4): P145 x 40 adults = P5,800

Total cost for the KFC party : Php 13,720.00

OPTION 2: McDonalds

McDonalds has 3 themes namely Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Disney Princess and Toy Story. When i asked Tami about the theme, she prefers the Mickey Mouse clubhouse over Disney Princess. What i like in Mcdo is they have playground for kids and i know that tami and her classmates will surely enjoy the party here.

Cost:
Party fee: P3,000 (cake is not included)
Food for the kids (Package 1): P135 x 30 kids = P4,050
Adult menu (Package 4): P159 x 40 adults = P6,360.00

Total cost for the Mcdonalds party : Php 13,410.00

OPTION 3: HOUSE

This is my last option. If this will be the choice, the party will be held in our in-laws house, kasi naman hindi kasya d2 sa apartment. When we inform our in-laws about the plan, Mama agreed to celebrate the party in the house for some reasons like mas enjoy kung sa house kasi hindi ka nagmamadali unlike in Mcdo and Kfc na 2 hrs lang ang allowed sa party.

The downside of the party if it will be held in the house is its very tiring for Mama and the helpers to prepare the food and aside from that i need to attend to every details of the party because its a do-it-yourself party and nakakapagod talaga yun.

Cost depends, it maybe lower or higher from the fast-food chain because sometimes visitors tend to bring their whole family at the party.. Kaya hindi nman pwedeng per head and preparation ng food... You'll never know dba?

Hay, dont know what to choose, i still have one week to think and my reservation in Mcdo and KFC is until April 4 so i need to make decision fast. What about you? Which do you prefer?

Best hopia from Baker's Fair

After we shop in 168 mall and before we go home, Ayen brought us to this outlet selling hopia. She told us that everytime they go in Divisoria, they make it a point to drop here and buy hopia. Its her mom who discover this bakeshop..

Baker's Fair Bakeshop

They also have variety of breads and cookies..

The hopia section in front of the store. You will see here how they bake the hopia and what's good is they serve it fresh from the baking pan.

They have cakes too and panini's..

1 pack of hopia P100.00

This pack consists of 20pcs but you can bought the hopia per piece at P5.00. I bought this pack for our home. I want hubby and Tami try it.

When im home, i told hubby about the hopia and he loved it too. The remaining hopia placed in the fridge and this morning, we ate it and its also yummy even if its cold.

Will be back here when i go to divisoria..

Baker's Fair bakeshop is located in the 3rd floor of the old Divisoria mall. Medyo masikip nga lang ang daan papunta dun and ang dami talagang tao but its all worth it. :)

Loots from Divisoria...

When we went to 168 mall yesterday, we use the remaining 2 to 3 hrs to shop. And what funny is all the nice and fab items that we found there, all of us bought the same to get discounts except for Hugh because she cant wear girl things.. hehe...

You don't need to wear expensive things to look fab, right? You just have to know how to mix and match your expensive and not-so-expensive things and the most important is you have to be confident and be yourself, and that makes you fab.. tama ba mga mare?

Here are the loots that i bought in 168 mall...

Flat shoes (P125.00)

This korean flats are on sale at 50% off from the P300.00 price, when you get 1 pair you'll pay P150.00 but if you get 2 pairs, you'll pay P 250.00 only. My officemates and I bought 1 pair each and we combined it to get the discount that makes it P125.00 per pair. Kaya dapat may kasama kayo na bibili din to get big discounts... hehe

Flats upclose. Since the price of the flats is too cheap. Dont expect this to last for years. Siguro mga 2 to 3 months lang ang itatagal.. hehe

Red Shoes (P230.00)

Its P250.00 actually, we just haggled the price kaya P230.00 lang. I was lucky also because i got the red one and the last pair in my size. My officemate bought the white one with the print design. Its also nice..

I dont know if its chinese or korean. What we like with this shoes is its like combination of TOMS and Suelas. Very soft and comfy and you can fold it too. Perfect for travelling. At first out of stock na kaya nanghinayang pa kami but when we saw this shoes in one of the stall, halos sumigaw pa kami sa tuwa kasi ang ganda nya talaga in person. Di mo nga aakalain na P230.00 lang sya... Hubby also liked it. Di ko lang sure if meron for men.

Dress for kids (2pcs for P160.00)

This is what i bought for my daughter. Dress for pambahay... Very cheap at its price.. Fabric is cotton so i think its good..

Hello Kitty Fork and Spoon P100.00

One of my officemate bought Hello Kitty luggage in one of the stall. I saw this and its sale also. From P100.00 each, i got it at P50.00 each. Ayen also bought this for her niece. I told them na baka kumain si tami ng rice pag nakita nya yung Hello Kitty Spoon and fork.

Jeans P380.00

This is not sale but still cheap at P380.00 right?

PSP pouch P40.00

I just saw this psp pouch and i thought that it will be useful for Tami kasi lagi nyang nababagsak yung PSP. She's also delighted to see this pouch...

Puka coin purse P20.00

Im looking for a new coin purse and i like it the first time i saw this. P20.00 only.. hehe

Would you believe that all my loots is less than PhP 1,500?

All of us got fab items... Wala lang akong nabili for my hubby kasi di ko type yung mga shorts. I wanna go back there and shop again :)

Replica items spotted in 168 Mall...

I love going to Divisoria because they sell cheap items, you just have to find nice and fab clothes. I rarely go here because i dont want to go there alone kasi baka maligaw ako dun, nakakapunta lang ako if my in-laws will go there or my officemates wants to buy something there. Mas marami silang alam dun, they know where to find those cheap items that has good quality also.

After having lunch in Tokyo-Tokyo in 168 mall extension (thanks to Ayen kasi memorize na yata nya yung 168 mall, yesterday ko lang nalaman na may extension pla ang 168 mall.. hehe.. We walked around the mall to look for some nice items.

While walking around, you'll see lots of Fake items in 168 mall and they sell it for thousands of pesos. Grabe as in! Lahat ng designer bags may replica na.. Its so sad that you'll see those things around and people kept on buying it.. Tsk. Tsk. Do they realize that buying fake items will not help our economy to go up? Its not investment! And sayang lang yung pera nyo because when it comes to quality, its not good right? Why not make ipon and buy original ones, kasi dun sigurado ka sa quality and its worth your money.

Here are the FAKE items that i saw... Medyo hindi lang maganda quality ng photos kasi low-end ang cellphone ko.. Sorry naman!

Balenciaga, Chloe, and Gucci Bags

Goyard bag

Marc Jacobs and Prada

Lots of LV..

Even Tory Burch has fake now..

Longchamp also..

Hermes...

Rayban, Burberry and Prada shades..

Crocs..

Fitflop

And would you believe that 168 mall has TOMS shoes now? Grabe no?

Nakaka-sad dba?  I inquire in one of the stall about the LV Bag, when you look at the bag and you dont know how to spot a fake and you saw someone carrying these fake LV bag, you will believe that its original kasi sobrang replica sya outside, i also taught my officemate on how to check if the LV is an original or not. Back to the Bag, i show them the bag and i told them that when you look at it, youll notice that its really like an original one but when you will scrutinize the details, you will see the difference of the fake and original.. I ask the price of the bag and they tag it at P4,500.00.  Mahal dba? Makakabili ka na ng quality bag sa Charles and Keith with that price.

Sana maisip nila na hindi maganda yung ganun, dba?

Trip to Binondo..

Last Saturday, me and my officemates went to Binondo and Sta. Cruz because they want to visit Bro. Ben in Sta. Cruz for Feng Shui reading... We arrived there so early (around 8:30am) and the schedule of the store is at 9am so we stayed in Chowking and had a quick breakfast. After our breakfast, we walk along Ongpin Street to find the store where we bought our feng shui items last December.

My officemates (L-R) Jhoy, Hugh, Chucky and Me. Ayen was the one who took this pic.

After roaming around, we go back to Bro. Ben's store for the feng shui readings. Only three of us talked to Bro. Ben because they just accompany us and make gala... hehe

After the feng shui reading, we went back to Ongpin to buy the items or enhancers that we need. If you're planning to buy feng shui items, enhancers, etc, i suggest you look for this particular store because they sell the goods in a very reasonable price. We learned that this store is also distributor of the items thats why some stores in Ongpin also bought their items here.

Oversea Jewelry and Gift Shop..

Inside the store.. Dont foget to haggle because they are kind enough to give discounts unlike in some store, mahal na ang price, hindi pa nagbibigay ng discounts..

They bought Blue Mantra Ring also and some of the enhancers that Bro Ben suggested...

I look around inside the store and i found this items that are very nice for our house... Dba Jhoy? hehe

Foo Dogs

Foo dogs are known to Chinese as the guard of your house. I want these so for those im going to invite for our house warming, this is one of the things i like...hehe...

Money Tree

I also like this. I think its perfect for my console table... I thinks its Php 2,950..

Sa Fengshui lang, inabot na kami ng lunch, after that we headed to Soler St. to look for the items that my officemate needed for her house. Their house is in construction already. I also joined her here because im canvassing lights and other items for our house..

Me and Ayen

We rode those sidecar na parang trike to get to Soler St. We pay P70.00 for the ride.

If you are planning to renovate or build a house, you can buy good items in Soler St. All goods regarding house from lights to tiles to bathroom fixtures are all here, its cheaper compare to mall. Soler St. can be found near 168 mall. I think its across the 168mall and 999 mall.

Our first stop is the store selling tiles... Jhoy and i inquire here because next week she'll be buying the stuff for the finishing of her house. I also inquire for my house...

If you are looking for tiles, you can view their website here.

We also went to different stores selling lights, bathroom fixtures, cabinets etc... After the trip to these streets, we went to 168 mall for our late lunch and shop a little before going home.

Best coffee and desserts @ Espressamente Illy

Yesterday, i went to Mall of Asia and stay at Espressamente Illy for a cup of coffee and their best desserts. Espressamente Illy serves the best espresso in the Philippines for years and most of the italian food chain serves Illy coffee.

Since 1933, illy has been delighting people who value the quality of life by offering the best possible coffee nature can provide. This purpose combined with an unflagging pursuit of beauty have given birth to espressamente illy, which delivers a genuine experience of Italian coffee worldwide.

The coffee shop facade..

Comfortably seated at one of their couches, i surf the net because they have the fastest wifi in the area. Of course i ordered here so i can stay. Nakakahiya naman kung hindi ako oorder dba? I prefer Illy coffee than Starbucks now because espresso here was the best unlike with Starbucks, masyado nang commercialized ang coffee nila, ilang sip lang sa coffee hindi mo na malalasahan yung coffee unlike here in Illy, until the last drop masarap pa rin...

They also offer desserts in their store and they have variety of cookies, cheesecakes and cakes...

Here's what i have yesterday:

Caffe Latte Alla Vaniglia (PhP162.75)

I ordered this cold coffee to freshen myself from the humid weather... I now heart Illy because they serve the best coffee. This Caffe Latte Alla Vaniglia frap contains double illy espresso, vanilla and emulsified milk.

Insalata di Tonno e Pesto (PhP 145.00)

In english, its Tuna & Pesto. The picture doesn't give justice to its presentation and taste but i can say its really good enough to satisfy my cravings..

Blueberry Cheesecake (PhP 145.00)

Well, its definitely not good for my diet, but a good one for more indulgent times! hehe. I wasn't impressed at first but when I tasted it it was so creamy.  This is the type of cheesecake I like, not too salty or sour.

They also serves wines from Italy ...

Oreo Cheesecake

I take home another cheesecake for my daughter and hubby.

Espressamente Illy did not dissapoint me, the store is really clean, the servers are very accomodating and the place is really cozy.. If you want a GOOD espresso, either learn to make it yourselves or order one from Espressamente Illy.

For me Espressamente Illy gives the perfect espresso hits! Go try it...

Espressamente Illy is located in the second floor of Mall of Asia across the Zara outlet...
