Clocks strikes at 12!!!

The Clocks strikes at 12!!!

But wait.....

Before 2010 officially ends..

I want to say THANK YOU to:

LORD..... because he showered us lots of blessings this 2010.

HUBBY.... because he did his obligations to stand, provide and protect his own family... I love you Bi and so lucky to have you...

MY INLAWS..... because they respect our decisions. In fairness, wala ako masabi sa inlaws ko, never silang nakielam sa decision nmen.. Dati i was afraid to live with them kasi ang alam ko mahirap makisama sa mga byenan but they proved me wrong... And also, they love our daughter so much...

MY FAMILY..... because they support us in everything. Since we have a close family ties, we are very open with them at nkakatuwa lang kasi kahit may kulang man sa family, hindi yun dahilan para hindi magsama-sama..

FRIENDS & OFFICEMATES.... because even if we were miles away, communication is still intact. For my officemates who are also my travel buddy, thank you for being there for me... More years for us!!!

And now, were going to look forward for 2011. I know lahat tyo merong resolution and i only have one resolution for 2011. "MAGTIPID"

- because I have Tami na kailangang pag-ipunan ang future studies.
- because in 2 or 3 yrs, we're getting our own house from our own money.. fruits of labor it is!!!
- because im planning of putting up a business and resign from work *wink*
- BABY.. as hubby's wish...

That's all for now, magulo na d2 at nagpuputukan na... 3 more minutes and its 2011!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

my FENG SHUI for 2011

Do you follow Feng shui?

I started following feng shui because of my relatives, they are pure Filipino but follow Chinese traditions, i dont know why but i guess theres nothing wrong doing it... After all it still you who decides for your life..

Yesterday, my friend and I went to Sta. Cruz, Binondo and Ongpin for the Fengshui... we looked for Bro. Ben in Ying-Yang Charms and Feng Shui store, he was the one who reads my relatives feng shui especially to kuya bing...

If you want to go there, you need to be there earlier because the line gets long, as in really long... We were there at around 8am and theres people already waiting for the Feng shui master..

What to do:
First, you have to pay P200.00 at the cashier, this amount is consumable for the items that you want to buy after the feng shui consultation...

It is advisable to know your KUA number because this is your number for life... There are some calculations you need to do and there's also online calculator for the KUA number.

All the while, i know that i am a Rooster sign because i was born in 1981 but after going to Bro. Ben, i found out that i am a Monkey sign because i was born in January in the Chinese Lunar Calendar...

Compass

The most important thing you need to have because this will tell you the directions of your lucky signs...

After the Personal Consultation, we were given what to buy to enhance the lucky signs etc. Since its already lunch then, we went to Ying-Ying Restaurant in Binondo for our lunch and then we walk along Ongpin and enter different stores that sells charms in preparation for the new year. Sobrang dami ng tao na namimili ng charms because come Feb. 2, mas maraming tao nun because its Chinese New Year.

What i bought in Ongpin:

Prosperity Basket

I bought this prosperity basket for our table, usually we put rice grains, chinese ancient coins, water, real money inside this and will be put in the table from Dec. 31 up to Chinese New year on Feb. 3...

Chinese Ancient Coins in Brass metal

This is said to be the lucky coin, you will put this in your wallet as a lucky charm...

Blue Mantra Ring

We were in particular store in Ongpin to look for the Auspicious coins but they only have an Auspicious ring. Luckily, theres this two girls who bought this Blue Mantra Ring for them, we ask them what is this for and after our conversation, my friend and I decided to bought one for ourselves. The girl said that she bought her Blue Mantra ring in Dubai for P6,000 (converted in Pesos) and bought another one in Ongpin because it is a lot cheaper here...

Dzi Bracelet

Before, i have this Jade bracelet from Kuya Bing but someone stole it from our room. Sayang nga eh, ganda pa nman nun! Anyway, i bought this bracelet that consists of Nine-Eyed in Citrine bracelet...

Hay... i want to go back to Ongpin and bought lots of enhancers... mejo pricey nga lang.

Happy New year to all and lets all pray for a more fruitful years to come..

Hubby's text...

Last tuesday, while i am busy in the office, i received a text from Hubby about our PLDT bill....

P4,000 for a 1 month bill? What the heck!!!

I texted hubby to check the bill, pano kaya nangyari yun? Our dsl is only 999 and our phone line is 700++, how come our bill doubled last month? We are updated in paying our bills especially with PLDT because internet is the most important thing in our house..

When i arrived at home, i checked the bill and called PLDT customer service, after they check our account, they discovered that the transfer fee of the phone line (from my inlaws house to our apartment) billed us twice so they made adjustment of P1,100 from the current bill..

Still we nid to pay the amount higher than the usual bill because we also had long distance and cellphone calls... Hay naku.. kaya nga may cellphone eh, to lessen the long distance and cellphone calls sa landline.. blame it to tami's yaya and hubby...

Our Christmas in Laguna...

We spent christmas in Laguna but instead in our house, we held our christmas in my aunt's place to show her newly built resthouse or 2 storey bahay-kubo at the back of their house. FYI, her kubo is not the typical kubo in the farm, sosyal ang bahay kubo ni Tta Babes, sayang nga lang hindi ko nakunan ng pictures, next time promise...

Anyway, we were complete of course except to Cantos Family and BJ who were all in the US (i made this blog for them, to know the latest and our whereabouts hehe) We arrived before lunch and sleepover to my aunt's house...

Here are some of the pics.. sorry eto lang nakunan ko...enjoy eh.. di napansin na wala pa palang pics...

Silverio kids (L-R) Cross, Tami, AJ and CJ

Cousins

Cross - son my my cousin Kaye
Tami - my daughter
AJ - my brother's son
CJ -  daughter of my cousin BJ

The scenario kapag kumakain either lunch, merienda or dinner...

Panalo ang handa ni Tta Babes nung pasko, during our lunch grabe ang Bulalo, feeling ko maha-high-blood ako that time, Ginataang tilapia, Embutido, Lechong Kawali, Chopsuey. Ang desserts Macapuno, Salad and Leche Flan.

Merienda we had Arrozcaldo and Tokwa't-Baboy

Taken at the 2nd floor of the kubo..

Hubby

We enjoy staying in the kubo kasi super lamig and we were complete... Enjoy pa while gift-giving..  Tawanan, kulitan, Asaran...... Priceless!

We sleep-over at my aunt's house and during breakfast we had our favorites namely: kesong puti, pandesal, Suman at tsokolate, Itlog na pula, hotdog...

After we eat, nagbalot na kami ng ulam, prepare our things and we left Laguna before lunch... We arrived at home around 1pm

While unpacking our things, i saw Tami getting some of the money in her bag. Nkakatawa pa nga kasi she didnt know that its Pesos. Ang alam lang nya ay dollar kaya everytime someone gave her money, she was telling them that its dollar...

e.g Tami says "Mama, look i got 20 dollars (referring to 20 pesos) kaya nman tuwang-tuwa ang mga nkakarinig kay Tami..

Tuwang-tuwa ang bruha at marami syang pera! I taught her how to put money in the coinbank and i explained to her that if she has money, the violet (100), the gold (500) and the blue (1,000) she has to save it for her toys or anything she wants to buy pag marami na...

Thank you nga pla sa lahat ng nagbigay ng regalo smen, Thanks to Ate dalyn for the Barbie Bag with Kikay set, Mika for the Barbie jewelry set, Tta Nidan for the Doll na naiyak and dumododo (tami loved it), Tta ne for the toy and for all the things that Tami received during Christmas... di ko na iisa-isahin kasi masyadong marami, alam nyo nman kung sino kayo...

I got 2 new Bags last Christmas, one from Tita Nidan and the other from Tta Nene... Thanks also to those who gave money to us.. We appreciate all the gifts..

Thank You and Merry Christmas!!!

Wishing of a new sala set...

When hubby and i went to southmall before christmas to buy gifts, i saw this beautiful bag in Charles and Keith outlet, super duper mega isip ako kung bibilin ko ba or hindi. There were so many thoughts running in my head that time:

First thought:  If im going to buy that bag for P2,800, magiging dalawa na yung new bags ko na hindi pa ngagamit...

Second thought: Kung bibilin ko yung bag sa Charles and Keith for sure mababawasan ang budget ko for the gifts and that is a Big No No...

Hay... In the end, i decided not to buy that bag kasi i still have one new bag and its not my priority now.

Anyway, Hubby wants to have a new sala set na pwedeng tulugan kapag daw inabot sya ng madaling-araw sa paglalaro ng computer games. Syempre as a wife, gusto ko na din yun kasi its for our own home nman eh kaya ok lang... I was scouting some sala set online and found this:

Photo from Our Home

This sofa set from Our Home was very nice and comfortable pero feeling ko hindi to tatagal kay tami..

When im in the office, my officemate/friend told me na yung kakilala ng mother nya went to their house and she learned that they customize sala set, bed or other things in the house using rattan. The family of my officemate know them so for sure they create quality furniture. As i was looking online about the furnitures that are made in rattan, i found this:

Set 1 (my officemate choice)

Set 2 (my choice)

Set 3

My officemate and I were planning of ordering our chosen design next year (2nd quarter maybe). I showed this pic to hubby and he chose the black rattan which is also my pick.

I you were to choose, which design is your pick? Comments please...

December 24, 2010

Its the last day to shop and i went to Glorietta. Since im going to buy for my relatives, i only have one in my mind and that is Marks and Spencer, I really like their Body mist and spray...

And the gifts are complete already.

After we prepare ourselves for xmas dinner in my in-laws, i ask our little Santa to stand beside the Christmas tree and took some pictures..

Im signing off... Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Shopping Rush Part 1

I left the office at 1:00pm just to shop because i only had 2 days left to complete the Christmas gifts aside from the money that we will give to our inaanaks na malalaki na and to elders na namamasko pa..

First, i went to Rustans and Glorietta to find the Oakley Ducati Edition in Matte black but unfortunately i cant find any matte black because its already sold out. I was thinking of going to Boni high street pero malayo na sa way ko kaya sa greenbelt na lang yung last chance ko for that specific Oakley shades. I went to TIO2 (one of the distributors of Oakley) and i was lucky that they still have the last Matte black..

Oakley Fuel Cell Ducati edition..

After i bought the Oakley shades, I went to SM southmall to meet hubby. I originally planned of going to ATC but hubby wants to stay in Southmall para daw mas malapit because he was so sure na sobrang traffic pauwi..

We ate merienda first at Sbarro then go shopping after. We went to Toy kingdom and bought some toys to our daughter and to some of our inaanaks, we also bought some kids clothes sa mga boutique para may paper bag na at hindi na babalutin.

The gifts under our christmas tree, grabe i was so dead tired buying those gifts. From 1pm to 9pm we were in mall choosing gifts to give for tomorrow.

Special mention to Ate ta for wrapping some of the gifts, grabe ang pila sa gift wrapping section ng SM and toy kingdom, daig pa ang pila sa sinehan...

Later will be the Christmas shopping rush part 2. This time, ill buy gifts for my family, cousins and aunts since i already bought the gifts for my inaanak, yung walang gift pera n lang.....Sana makumpleto ko yung list ko and this time will be in Landmark and Glorietta or baka sa MOA n lang basta ayoko na sa Southmall because of terrible traffic when going home.

Sbarro for the nth time

When hubby and i met at SM southmall yesterday we had a quick merienda before we go shopping and Sbarro was our choice since konti lang ang diners. We fall in line upon arrival because i already knew our orders that time.

Hubby's order was the Baked ziti and a slice of pizza...

My order was the cheese pizza kasi sobrang busog pa ko nyan...

Our drinks...

And our bill... super cheap dba? super busog pa...

New Philippine Peso Bill

Have you seen the new Peso bill? According to some internet sites and BSP site, the new notes will be released in time for christmas and will be complete by January 2011. Old notes can be used until the next 3 to 4 years so no need to worry if you have coinbank with paperbills inside because even if its more than 3 yrs, you can still change the old notes to your bank.

20 peso bill

50 peso bill

100 peso bill

200 peso bill

1,000 peso bill

Ang ganda ng new notes dba? Makulay sya and it shows more of the highlights in our country like the Mayon Volcano, tarsier and the Underground River to name a few. Also, other purpose of the new notes is the additional security to avoid counterfeiting of the notes.

When i saw the new bills, I called BDO and ask reservation of the new notes. Every christmas, i always request a breakdown of xx,xxx to be given away to some kids, sa mga inaanak ko na kahit malalaki na namamasko pa at syempre sa mga jutanders hehe...

Hay.. magastos talaga pag pasko pero ok lang, time to share the blessings :)

Dec 19, 2010

5 more days and its Christmas!

Oh no!!! 5 days n lang wala pa kong masyadong nabibiling gifts...

I need more time to shop for my family, 18 inaanaks, relatives, friends etc. Wala pa nga akong nabibili for myself and gift for hubby..

I asked hubby what he wants and he said "Baby"... I joked him and said "cge ill buy manika for you" haha...

Anyway, i need to make a list and hoard some goods.. Sana may mga sale pa :)

This picture was taken by Ayen at Ortigas. She used her brand new GE camera (ang cute ng cam nya, SLR look-alike)... hehe..

Ganda ng kuha no?

Team party at the Linden Suites

Its always a tradition to celebrate a year-end party in every company and to our company, we always had 3 celebrations, our company year-end party, our Pod or Department's xmas party and lastly our team xmas party. This makes me busy aside from the parties outside work. From the 3 celebrations, i haven't had the chance to attend the yearend party of our company because i was abroad, when i got back, its time for our team party and i was one of the host.

On the day of our party (Dec. 17), my teammate and I filed a half-day leave to do the errands and check-in at the hotel. We do the groceries at Market-Market and Megamall for our surprise give-away, bought cellphones for the prizes and gifts for our exchange gift.

At exactly 3pm, Jhoy and I checked in at the Linden Suites hotel and we occupy the Executive Suite with 2 bedrooms.

The executive suite was big, its not new to me since ive been to different 3star and 5star hotels locally and abroad and what i liked about the Linden suites is the interior design of the room.

We prepared the venue, set the things that we needed for the party and arranged the food, giveaways etc...

Bingo Area...

This is how it looked like after the preparation so when the team arrived, all is set.

Ambers food

At around 5pm, our team arrived one by one. We are all 22 pax that night...

We took some pictures while waiting for the others. We have Ambers for our food.

After we ate, we only prepare one game and that is Bingo. I borrowed my Lola's Bingo paraphernalia and like ive said with my previous post, to make the game exciting, we ask some of our team and supervisors to sponsor a prize and that includes us.

Some of the prizes. Others are not available that night but still included in the game.

Even if we are the host, we still join the game. I was eyeing the Cherry Mobile P3 phone because its so cute but we are not allowed to play for that prize because me and jhoy was the sponsor of the Cherry mobile fone. Unfortunately i didnt win any of the prize. Sad nman :(

 The team playing Bingo...

After the never-ending Bingo game, we started the exchange gift and i received a 2011 planner. We dont have the tradition of making bunutan and create a wishlist because it will not surprise the receiver. Instead, we announced to bring any gift worth P200 above and we will make bunutan on the event itself.

Me and Emily

I didn't expect to received this but i was happy because i am a planner person. I love to write and compute for expenses.. haha.. And planner is one of my important things for my everyday life because it helps me track my expenses and budget...

I informed my teammate who gave me this that i appreciate her gift. Thanks Emily again :)

After the party that ends around 1:00am, our sup thanked the team for participating in our party, announced something and before we officially end, Jhoy and I thanked them again and we promised our supervisor prior that week that we will share the blessings that we receive (amongst our team, Me and Jhoy was the highest receiver of incentive monthly hehe). We bought a small goody package for each and everyone as our xmas gift...

And so the party ends, its time for liquor party. Inuman na to!!!

 Me and Jhoy

Preparing for a pillow fight..hehe (L-R) Jhoy, Janice, me and Rina

Grabe halos walang tulugan.. Sobrang saya... Inuman, kwentuhan, asaran...

Looking forward for another great year with my team :)

Merry Christmas Team Gary!!!
