Should we go to our planned vacation?

Last month, we booked for a 3 days 2 nights trip to Palawan since we were having our long weekend on November in celebration of US Thanksgiving because it means that we dont have office work and its time to unwind. My cousins kuya bing and ej also joined us to this upcoming trip. We were looking forward to this trip because we're going to stay in Dos Palmas. All itineraries were settled already, the accomodation, tours, etc until......

Yesterday, the office of the apartment/townhouse where we made reservation called and the vacant is now ready to occupy. Hubby and i went there to check the vacant apartment and see the things that needs repair. I like this up and down apartment with 2 bedrooms because it is well taken cared of and if you need assistance, you just tell the caretaker or call directly to their office. We gave our downpayment which is equivalent to 4 months. They will just repaint the whole apartment and in a few days we will move to our new home.

Now, should we go to our planned vacation or not?

Hubby said not to go with the palawan trip because instead of spending money on the trip, why not use it to buy things for our new home since we need to buy a lot like ref, stove, utensils, sala set etc.... He also want to buy new celphone for his birthday. He has a point, right?

For me, yes its good to spend the money for the house but we cant refund the money we deposited for the reservations. Hay... dont know what to do...

Banana Chips

Everytime i do grocery, chips never skip on the list because hubby and tami love eating chips whenever they watch tv or a movie. But i know that chips is not good for the health of my daughter so i look for some healthy chips and i found this Michelle's home made banana chips.

Michelle's Homemade Banana chips - P88.00

When we tried this, its really good, crunchy and not too sweet.

Instant Maki...

If you know me, you know that i love Makis. Everytime i crave for it, i go to SM grocery because there are stall there that sells good Makis.

This Maki costs PhP 130.00.. Cheap right?

Since im the only who likes to eat makis, i ate this last time for my dinner, midnight snack and breakfast... hehe

Gelato treats at Cara Mia

We bumped this gelato outlet in SM southmall when we went there last time. I asked the attendant if this shop is part of the Amicis and it was confirmed. And i know that if this is from Amici then its good to eat.

I love gelato more because its creamier than the regular ice cream. According to them, gelato is made with more milk and lesser fat thats why it creamier. Caramia cost from PhP 60 up per scoop depending on the flavor that you chose.

Different variants

When tami saw the stall, she immediately ask me to buy the gelato and she ordered her favorite - strawberry supreme

My daughter enjoying her gelato. Did you you know that my first time to eat gelato was in HK? I never thought that Caramia serves as good as what i ate in HK months ago..

Hubby and my daughter after eating gelato. Hubby also liked it. Will try some flavors and the gelato cakes next time we go to SM.

Do you have Skin Asthma?

Do you have skin asthma?

According to my dermatologist, Skin asthmatics have really very sensitive skins and prone to allergy. Theres really no cure but there are chances to reduce the skin asthma. One is you really need to moisturize your skin using soaps and lotion but you have to use the unscented ones.

Just like asthma, it has also triggering factors. Mine are frequent changing of weather which is obviously cannot be avoided, dust and smoke. There are also foods to avoid but its case to case basis. Like with my case, my skin asthma attacks when the weather changes and when its really hot, i have to avoid chicken, eggs and some seafoods to avoid having itchy skin...

With my very sensitive skin, i only use the following products and you can also try if this is good for your skin.

With soaps, i only use Cetaphil or Oilatum because its really mild and unscented, perfect for sensitive skins... if i dont have skin asthma in some months i only use dove soap. Remember to use the mild and unscented soaps.

For lotion, Aveeno is the best. I tried a lot of lotions just to see whats best for my sensitive skin. I always ask my relatives in US to send me lotions thats good for skin asthma and Aveeno is the best.

I know that having skin asthma means high and pricey maintenance but we dont have a choice but to follow. Try some products and see what really works for your skin.
