Goodbye 2008, Welcome 2009

I've been busy for the past days. I have so many stories to tell but we are here in the office working and waiting for the year to close and welcomes another year. Since we're off to the ayala event for the celebration of new year in a few minutes so, I thought of making my last post to thank and greet everyone instead...

before this year comes to a close, I would like to thank the following people:

First, to GOD for all the blessings you showered me and my family.

Second, to my FAMILY and RELATIVES who are always there to give love and support.

For my HUBBY Badz, for being a great and such a sweet husband, for understanding me lalo na pag may topak ako and also for spoiling me in everything.

To Badz cousins namely JANSSEN, MAYA, ATE CHE and BHENG for being a good listener all the time and for the time you spent with me lalo na pag nasa mall tayo...hehe

To all MY FRIENDS (you know who you are) for keeping in touch with me through text, ym, friendster, multiply and here in blog. I really appreciate the fact that you guys still find time to see how im doing.

To all my COLLEAGUES in work who have been nice to me one way or another.

There you go...thank you for being a part of another year.

Party hard but stay safe on this last day of the year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

See you all in 2009....

North Park during Xmas!

Christmas is finally over. We are now looking forward to New Year’s celebration. I miss the Christmas eve in our house, the carolers with kids of all ages that would go door to door and sing Christmas carols to receive some monetary gift.

Normally, we would exchange and open gifts at 12 midnight but since I had to be early at work, we distribute our gifts as early as 8pm, it was so much fun. Tami was busy opening her gifts and start playing with the toys.

Since I have work, we celebrate xmas in our office and here are some pics:

Northpark - our noche buena in our pantry

I hope everyone else had a great time celebrating Christmas as well.

Before i end this blog, i want to thank those who give presents to me and my daughter:

To tami's ninang, ninong and relatives:

For the toys, clothes, and money

and also for
kuya bing - who give Crocs to tami and a Starbucks planner to me (the best ka talaga kuya bing),

Ate dalyn for the bath and body cologne,

Tta nidan for the Lacoste wristlet and chocolates,

Cantos family for all the chocolates and money...

Thank you so much!!!

And until now, we're still accepting gifts...=) hehe

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas is a truly magical season, bringing families and friends together to share the much loved customs and traditions which have been around for centuries. Most people are on holiday and stay at home with their family on Christmas day.

We are going to have a double celebration, christmas and my mom-in-law's birthday. Everybody in the house will be busy doing stuffs today. Mama is a good cook, so she's in charge (as always) for good foods.

It was kind of lonely here in Makati. I am thinking of my friends either they're on leave or somewhere celebrating the noche buena so I felt a bit alone and sad. But I realize i need to do work and the good thing about working on holidays is because we are paid double but since it's regular holidays, we are paid more than double...yipee!

Hey, it's Christmas! That should be reason enough to feel happy and thankful. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!

Hindi kayo makaka-angal..may evidence! hahaha!
My dermatologist-turned-good-friend Olive chose me to be...well...a model for her Skin care clinic. I was featured three times in Asian Journal (biggest Filipino newspaper circulation dito sa US). Oo..complete with before and after pics. (Wait i'll scan them, will try to post it here). Dba kasi ang dami kong pimples noon? Ngayon, super wala na, thanks to Olive! I thought the newspaper was the end of it all...oh well...may tv guesting pa pala..hahaha! Olive was featured at Life Pinoy Style, a cooking show hosted by Ron Bilaro. Shown at TFC, 10.30am, Nov 30, Sunday. I don't have the dvd copy yet, but once I get it you bet it'll be up here in no time. Kailangan ko lang magtestify sa husay ni Olive. Fun fun fun experience. Nung una biruan lang, magiging totoo pala!
Eto na..pangarap ko to! Ipplug ko si Olive...I'd like to thank Olive for my Skin (yehessss!)

Shopper Survey

My Comment: Well, this survey is true. I am a self-confessed impulsive buyer!!!

Christmas Wishlist

Christmas is just around the corner and everyone's putting up their own wishlists, so I thought of doing mine. Here goes my wishlist. Hehe. :)

1. New Wooden Bed
- Since Tami is big enough, we can use the frame of our bed and I wish to have new mattress though it’s kinda expensive. haha

2. A pair from the 2009 Havaianas or Crocs collection
- The new collection has some interesting pairs I'd love to take home.

3. New Bag- just to add to my collection

4. Clothes
- It's also a need. After all, I don't wear uniform at the office.

5. Fax machine
- it's for business and it's still a plan

What's your wish this Christmas?

Pacquiao's victory

The Dream Match is no longer a dream when Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya made this dream a reality last Sunday. Pacman, the 29-year-old world champion tried to make history yet again and succeeded. He shocked the world when he beat Oscar De La Hoya in the 8th round of the fight via a technical knock-out.

Congrats Manny! You truly are a hero.
